Primul zbor al unei românce, sublocotenentul Simona Maierean, pe MiG 21 LanceR. Sublocotenentul Simona Maierean este prima prima femeie pilot din Forţele Aeriene Romane care a zburat pe MiG 21 LanceR. Premiera a avut loc vineri, 13 martie 2009, în Baza 95 Aeriană Bacău. Simona are 25 de ani, este absolventă a Academiei Forţelor Aeriene "Henri Coandă" din Braşov, brevetată, în 2008, pilot militar pe avioane cu reacţie. După trecerea pe avionul supersonic, pe care o face la Bacău, va zbura pe Baza 86 Aeriană Feteşti. Eseul cinematografic este o metaforă a frumuseţii şi a zborului.
