John McCain on his negative ads: They're not lies

JOY BEHAR: You know what I have to- one more thing- there are ads running from your campaign, one of them is saying that Obama when he said you can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig was talking about Sarah. There's another ad that says that Obama was interested in teaching sex education to kindergardners. Now we know that those two ads are untrue, they're lies. And yet you at the end of it say I approve these messages. Do you really approve them?

JOHN MCCAIN: Actually they're not lies and if you've seen some of the ads that are running against me-

BARBARA WALTERS: You said the same thing about putting lipstick on a pig. You yourself used the same expression.

MCCAIN: When I was talking about a health care plan.

WALTER: He talked about change. He wasn't talking about Sarah Palin [crosstalk]

MCCAIN: Senator Obama chooses his words very carefully, okay, he shouldn't have said it. He shouldn't have said it. He chooses his words very carefully. And this is a tough campaign.

They are not lies...just extreme manipulations of the truth...everything in the Ads is implied so that Mccain isnt putting his neck on the line by actually saying "he wants to show diagrams of sexual intercourse to kids who cant read yet"

John McCain told his captors what he wanted to do. They wanted to release him for propaganda purposes. He didn't want to go so they let him stay. I can see the soldier telling John they were going to release him and then that soldier going to his Commanding Officer and saying " John doesn't want to go" and the C.O. saying " well I guess we can't make him go, he's got us over a barrel" This has to be the 1st time a prisoner told his captives what he wanted to do and they agreed. YEAH!
