The success of her debut album entitled "Seytané" released in 1990 opened the doors to a brilliant career. She then relesed "Accident," "Déwénéti", "Kor Dior", "Aldiana" and "Amine" between 1991 and 1997.

The single "Pata Pata" from his album "Yomalé" was produced by Patrick Bruel and released in 1998, earned her great dedication on the international stage. This song was a hit in Europe in the summer of 1998, enabling her to win a double gold record and a platinum disc.

In 2001, she released the album "Salii Saléé" with which she won the Kora Award as the Best Artist from West Africa. Coumba Gawlo also conducts humanitarian operations for the education and well-being of children through her association with "Lumière pour l'enfance". • aww..that lion cub is soo cute! I wish I had one. the next time someone asks me if we have a lion I will a big YES and refer them to this video.lol

  • Coumba Gawlo has redefined what it means to be a woman. I could probably say that she redefines sexiness, talent, maybe even humanity. She is strong, confident and dignified.

And let us not forget that she is caring. Caring for each other is a great part of what raises us above the level of merely clever apes. I could live very happily in a world filled with women like her.

Did I forget to mention that she is one of the better-looking people in this world?
