@Cyrielmartens classic T pose, makes deformations easier, so bones don't interact with unwanted parts of body

I'm having a bit of a problem when animating a character doing push ups. I need the wrist pinned to the floor. 'Fix' doesn't seem to be effective. I tried Bake Motion and Bind Motion and still can't get it right. Anybody have any ideas?

This neutral pose is called he T-Pose. It's often used for characters that are animated with mocap data, and it's a good neutral pose for texturing a character. However, I prefer neutral poses with slightly angeled knees and elbows. Gives better deformations and are more predictable when used with standard IK, imho.
This is cool !!! Thanks for the tut :D
So i get this right..
You just placed these bones in modeller,
Then convert them to skellegons in layout.
And then use the IK Boost?
I presume you used some weightmaps too?
ps: is there a reason all character are in that position? with arms spread?

I couldn't say it better than LWaver.
This character is included with Lightwave and is bone rigged, ready to be animated in Layout.
