What the hell does 40 speed matter for an ILB? It's near the bottom of the depth chart in terms of importance for that position. Kiper speaks as though he was talking about a corner or wideout

i don't think mel kiper knows anything about football to be honest. when he evaluates players, he just uses generic terms like "instinctive", "good productivity", but the more i listen to him the more i think he really doesn't even know what those things mean. as someone said, there's a reason he's not working in front office, if he's such a great draft guru.
