Ok, so he is small and kinda fat, but I trust Bo through anything. I love riding him bridleless, and I actually cannot remember the last time I had a saddle on him. I trail ride, jump, show, perform and even work cows on him bareback. Bo and I have been disqualified from many a competition for entering bridleless and bareback, but boy did we have fun with it! Bo has also won many competitions without tack. Everything from jumping, dressage, and hunter hack, to western pleasure, trail, western riding and reining, all the way to Barrel racing, pole bending and other gaming events. We even competed in 1/4 and 1/2 mile races...ok, so we didn't exactly win in the races, but we ran as fast as Bo possibly can! We have been on a long road together, and I hope we have many more adventures still to come!

  • Hi,

So I ride horses and I was wondering how would you get a horse to slow down and relax instead of running all the time if you were going to game them?

My horse never stops when she starts running, she throws her head, and she sometimes bucks if she doesnt get her way.

  • @kyleenj94 Sounds like a bit/hand problem. You might want to try to get a few lessons with different natural horsemanship trainers. I train and give lots of lessons, but one thing I love to do is train with other trainers. Not just one either, I try to ride with as many different people as I can. There are some great ones out there for helping you to not use the reins so much for control and communication.

  • Your horse is really beautiful

  • @kyleenj94

Begin by walking your horse up and down, then tack her up and walk her around, once she has calmed down you can mount, start walking slowly and then go into a trot when happy, if she rushes or bucks bring her back to a walk, do the same when you start cantering (if you do!!) and hopefully she will learn who's boss and calm (it worked on my friends horse so i hope it will work for yours!!)

  • You are such an inspiration! You have so much trust in your horse and you make all this look easy!

  • if u dont ride with a bridle how do u make it stop when u finish the jump?

  • Magnifique ! :) J'adore les gens qui ose ! :) Par contre sur quelques obstacle il est un peu paresseux si tu veux l'obliger à bien s'impliqué, rajoute un peu de largeur ou une simple barre au sol devant :) encore bravo ;)

  • whoww well done
