  • @Reservoir1951 : Smoking has been proven to be a factor for heart disease but eggs? I haven't seen any studies that come to the conclusion that we should stop eating eggs. Did you quit smoking at the same time you started the Ornish diet?

  • were talking heart disease. you will have to be on this diet for the rest of your life. i had bad angina, and started this diet, and with in 3 weeks no more angina when i walked. i might say here that i use to eat 3 eggs every morning for 40 years. i found it harder to give up eggs then i did to quit smoking. but thanks to the good doctor i am a recovering garbage food addict

  • meh i don't like the idea of no avocados when eating healthy ...avocados are AMAZING 4 you.

  • The programme sounds fantastic, but this video is not inspiring in any way, from the mode and tone of delivery, to the approach focusing on how unpleasant or difficult the diet will be.

They should have focused on the benefits, perhaps saying how long you would need to be on the diet and the good results you can expect, etc. I would be depressed after watching the video, much less inspired to follow the diet through!

Keep trying though. Dean is fantastic.
