Do not buy a johannus for a church. You will regret it. They do not last. For a home they are fine but they are just so cheap in every way unfortunately. Hence the reason for the rediculous cost. Now Rodgers and Allen are over priced for sure but you would be better to negotiate with them then to buy one of these and they will hold a better value through the years. The Johannus will be worth nothing after just a few years.

The Sweelinck 27 is a fantastic organ. It has a brighter sound for classical and much warmer sound for romantic style music than the Allen or Rodgers. Though both good organs, the Sweelinck is a much better organ for less money.

The Sweelinck 27 is a fantastic organ. The sound is fabulous. It is a much nicer sound for both classical and romantic music than the Allen or Rodgers. Though, they are also good instruments, the Johannus Sweelinck 27 is a good organ and a bit less in price than the Allen or Rodgers.

My church is looking to get a new organ. The Sweenlink 27 is one that II've been looking at. Do you like it and do you recommend it for a small church? Thanks! Great performance by the way. I love this piece.

Did you use the second intonation, or the usual (romantic)
According to the lights, i guess it's the baroque. (Don't you like the other one, for this kind of music?)

I did use the 2nd (Baroque}. I guess i prefer the baroque settings overall. I have posted Elfes using the romantic setting.

What are the stops on this organ and does is have a crescendo as well as a swell pedal?

47 speaking stops. It does have a Crescendo pedal but I never use it.
