I think this segment has been the most random and frustrating one so far of the run. The sewers are very random and takes some luck to get by all the novistadors without playing totally safe. You will notice I use the sewers glitch in this run. Since the inventory loads and exits quicker on this version I started using it in certain places where it didn't save time in the Gamecube version. It works out 1 second faster to use ditman here and glitch around the gate that we used to kick down (which cancles the ditman glitch) :P It's pretty tricky to do the glitch very fast but as long as I did it in time to make the swinging blades. You will see I was slightly early this time and had to wait a little.

The red guy strategy looks slower than the original strategy ( a rocket to the enemies before jumping down then 2 more to the red guy from distance) but it's surprisingly ALOT faster this way since I save the first rocket and I only need one rocket to the kill the red key guy due to all the damage I deliberately took at the end of the previous segment. The worst part about this way is the archer near where I jump down. He sometimes waits until I jump down and then decides to shoot me (ruining the run completely). But luckily he started firing as I was on my way towards them all and he had to reload his bowgun while I killed the red guy :)

The flash grenade part in the gallery takes a ridiculous amount of luck to have the stunned guy keep the door open for me so I do not lose ditman glitch and save a ton of time from the basic strategy. Even with using continue points during practice it was extremely hard to pull off so how I managed it in a real run (with other luck based strategies) is beyond me. I'm just so relieved that it worked out on such a great segment like this :) As soon as I stunned the guy and the door stayed open for me I instantly felt the pressure. The rest from there isn't that hard but combining the moonstone pieces at the very end quickly takes a bit of balls when I was shaking this much :P I have not been as nervous at this for a long time ^_^

  • whoa.. the red zealot didn't run across the room! I can't get that dude to stay below. He always had to run! lol But amazing run, as usual!

    Btw, I didn't know that the dogs can follow you upstairs, to the 2 moons door. That's crayyyy

  • @satzkey You need to throw an incendiary grenade at him and jump down FAST before the flames will die out. Try using your last INC grenade so you can move quicker afterwards (same as I mentioned about the 1-3 egg throw)

  • Why do you keep opening up the menu >> equiping the striker >> exit menu >> open menu >> equip nade? I've seen you do it quite a few times on your newer videos.

  • @DerekT21288 I actually tried this, I discarded my INC grenades but I left one, threw it at his face and jumped immediately. I feel like a pro lol :) Thanksssss!!

    Some enemies are quicker too when you use ditman :)
