Hey, we've all got our opinions, and that's cool Tell you what, though. I've seen The Rolling Stones ENTIRE CAREER (Yeah, I've been aroudn that long!). Mick Taylor was great and all, true. However, after nearly 50 years, I can tell you that KEITH RICHARDS was/is the heart and soul of The Rolling Stones.
I saw him live in 1979 with The New Barbarians. Mick Taylor had NOTHING on Keith! Keith played AMAZING lead at that show. Rhythm guitar? Keith is the world's best. My opinion only.

@neilus - Your off your rocker or don't know SHIT about MUSIC - wanker - go away!!
-
This was when the Stones were the biggest and the best band in the world.
-
@neilus I know what you mean, but I gotta disagree... Taylor and Richards were absolutely perfect. Richard's grimy & sleazy rhythms and Taylor's melodic meandering solos. Sounds much better then when Ronnie Wood joined the band.

Mick Taylor rocks and rules!
-
oh for fucks sake, Taylor was a pentatonic wanker like all of us and he played mediochre stuff...stop idolising him, he never fitted in with the razor edge nastiness of what the stones needed...
-
@DeathsNephew Taylor didnt join until a year after sympathy had been recorded.
