  • Ace recording, never heard it, only ever heard this off the My Generation L.P. great to hear another studio cut, excellent one as well, thanks for posting. From a life long Who fan who was in a band in the 60's trying like s**t to take these off.

  • @varfurile1 Hey man, forgive the lateness - what was the name of your group? My dad tried to get started in music too apparently - a group called "The Shambles".

    be well mate!

  • This song is amazing. and its even better with jd in the system! I will love the who until i die!

  • that opening riff sounds very actual, as an influence for modern bands

  • I could hear a lot of bands from Undertones to Oasis inspired by this song

  • xenoxiq..Had a few names in different formats, The Rapiers, The Clansmen, The Fonebones...never made it past village halls and Aylesbury Borough Assembly Hall in the 60's. In the original form as an instrumental line up, the band actually backed Gerry and the Pacemakers at High Wycombe Town Hall. Aaaah heady days.

  • I think this was a B side to another Who record.

  • There are still Who and Jam fans everywhere - like here in Wisconsin :)

  • @MusicIsDeadToday Yoou are more than welcome! cheers for the comment - Be Well!
