Barack Obama's campaign is running ads that give a misleading impression that The Heritage Foundation supports his tax plan for the middle class.
Policy analyst Rea Hederman says Obama's campaign is playing fast and loose with the facts.

More Faux News Teabaggery from the same folks who gave us the Bush Recession and the idiotic invasion of Iraq.

What, at all, seems non-partisan about Heritage? They aren't making an attempt to hide it. Are you considering them non-partisan in the same way FOX News considers itself non-partisan? What I mean is, they are a proudly conservative organization who overwhelmingly supports the policies and ideals of conservative Republicans while opposing those of progressive Democrats. Does that not qualify? How are you defining "non-partisan"?

@chubbyruckus The Heritage Foundation does seem non-partisan, just because they're not economically illiterates like most liberals doesn't mean their support is overtly directed towards any one political party.

What facts, figures or perspectives are you referring to? I hear this nonsense a lot now but it usually never comes with a real reference, just more right wing name calling. Please elaborate on the exact parameters of "qualified" so we can hold all of our past and future leaders to this same standard. Crazy me, I thought it was the platform you run on and your ideas that are the most important part of qualifying for the Presidency ,but I'm just a rational person.

This is hysterical. He says the Heritage Foundation is non-partisan. Who are you trying to convince? Perhaps if he had truthfully listed any of the details of the Obama tax plan, we could make a non-partisan decision. I guess the smirky "spread the wealth" description of the Obama plan was non partisan as well. The best is that he tries to direct you to their analysis of the Obama plan rather than the actual plan on Obamas own site. I guess it's easier to lie to folks if they stay uninformed.

it all sounds good. i have no doubt that McCain has good ideas, and that the research could be right, i have a question, how come Bush's tax cuts did not create more jobs and in fact killed the middle class? It seams that the only people that benefited were the wealthy owners that moved their factories south of the border. I don't mind paying more taxes if that would benefit the nation after all I'm grateful to live here and I"m not afraid to do my part. I guess no new HDTV for me. "too bad!"

You know nothing about liberalism. Your whole post is wrong and completely unsupportable with evidence that is not itself heavily biased.
Redistribution of wealth will not occur any more under Obama than under Bush. Exxon posting record profits(billions)for three straight years at the expense of every American who uses a car? THAT is redistribution of wealth, straight from the pockets of the many poor to the wealthy, immoral few.

The definition of socialism is simple, spreading the wealth.
