For anyone who had ever met Mike, they understand how truly depressing this story is. I don't care what premeditated this event, or whether Nicholas Crowdis was a good person, he took another human beings life, someone who actually made a difference in this world. There was no justice in a sentence of manslaughter, this was a clear case or MURDER. You don't bash someone unconscious, then stomp on their head, and claim self-defense!! RIP Mike. You will always be remembered fondly.

Nicholas Crowdis is a waste of life and he has clearly made the choice that he thinks he has the right to take other's lives as well which unfortunately he has gotten away with. Serba has never been a a violent human being and Crowdis' plea of self-defense if the biggest pile of bull I've ever heard. I alos love how his little buddies on this page have made a million excuses for twhy the poor thing had the right to do what he did and how he's still a good person. HE'S WORTHLESS>>>PERIOD

I would like to say that I have seen and met Mike before. He was truly kind, and I don't know how someone can kill him. Everyone who lives in Northfield, or went to Norwich will miss him so very much. RIP Michael Serba.

What is this comment about Nick may have killed him, but not because he wanted to? That's pure crap. You don't beat on someone who's down, then stomp on their head, and claim self defense. What exactly was he planning on doing when he picked up that brick? If he was that scared he should have just run away. The fact that Mike died (who was actually making something of himself), while this murderer lives is insulting. Too bad we don't live in the U.S where he would have received proper punishment
