Only the East Coast broadcast included the outrageous "act" on the often-outrageous and frequently questionable "Gong Show". Censors immediately blocked the airing of the clearly over-the-top performance of the "Popsicle Twins" before the show appeared on the West Coast later that day. - Anything inappropriate is in the eye of the beholder. To the conscious mind of a decent citizen, nothing inappropriate at all was going on. As the taste and decency of The Gong Show headed into the toilet, Popsicle sales skyrocketted immediately. - Enjoy this pick from TV's "Most Outrageous Moments", and please take a moment to rate and comment.

JP Morgan is the celebrity that stole the show. She's the reason it ultimately got yanked off the air. But I remember seeing the Popsicle Twins (I was fortunate to get the East Coast broadcast) and I fell out of my chair. Chuck Barris knew how to push the envelope.
