  • Just for future reference, this is a 3 year old video and im now graduated from high school, so although I appreciate the constructive criticism it's no longer necessary lol but thanks guys

  • not that great? 4.84 is good combine speed (cuz anybodys coach can get them a 4.5) cuz they have multiple coaches timing....and he was a freshman.

    you varsity as a sophomore?

  • yeah i was about where you are, ran 4.81 8th grade, but anyway here r some tips(im a freshman now)

1.Start squatting your legs are prob already strong but they get so much stronger, last year i thought 150 lbs was a lot to squat and yesterday squatted 300 for the 1st time.

    2. Pump your arms hard the entire 40

3.Get your hips up higher than you think is right in your starting position.

4.lean forward during the whole run

this stuff got me to a 4.55 40 yard dash a week ago. ran 4.64,4.55,4.6

  • if he had better form, he could get like a 4.6 or somethin

  • I'm 15 and my fastest time is 5 flat and I'm also a freshmen is that fast?

  • @MrTewl8te I'm a junior now, but I got up to like 420 squat then stopped for awhile, now im at like 330. I'll get back up there before all the summer recruiting trips though. Thats really good for a sophomore. Make sure you have a nice mix of flexibility and strength thought, thats what makes you fast. I ran a 4.43 end of my sophomore year if anyone is wondering about my progress. Good luck with football/lifting.

  • @dk0793 What are you squating now as a freshman ? I weigh 157 5'9 and I squat 415 in the tenth grade.

  • Im ran a 4.69 on the track im in 10th grade 157 lbs 5'9 . But every coach times diffrent.

  • pre nice, im 14 and run 4.8 40 weigh 150 bench 200 im also like 5,7

  • pre nice, im 14 and run 4.8 40 weigh 150 bench 200
