Even though it's all idiot-proof It's good reference. Yes, most of the old gear is good. The modern stuff is all gimmick. It doesn't need to be THAT modular.

I would like to say thanks for standing up men and women of Texas!!Now if you are looking for good LBV's you might want to look at Centerfire Systems.com,they have alot of Combloc stuff cheap and three differate color LBV's there.Also try Sportsman guide.

A really good book called "patriot, the survival of the collapse of America ". I am finishing it up and found it to be a great plot and very very informative. Audiobook is a must. Get it and start preparing.
Preparation takes time. Get to it.

I have a Chinese sks and use the chinese sks ammo Bandolier. I am a pretty big guy and find that it really is too short for me to use correctly. Any hints on how I could bubba some basic load suspenders and pistol belt rig to incorporate the bandolier into the system and hopefully get the both of both worlds?

@realsamwise use the newer plastic belt clip systems from the hardware or backpacking supply to get the maximum length out of the existing straps. If that is not enough then find strap material from the same source and make quick disconnect extenders for the shoulder straps and the waist band. statefanman76....Use what you think will work best for you in the enviroment that you are in. Mix the camo as needed to match the season and the coloration of your AO. Don't forget to think the same way about your weapon. We need each person to have the ability to not just deploy in the field but also to STAY in the field. More water is always good. All of the euro and US LBE can be integrated as needed. The US gear is a catch as catch can proposition but
Mainemilitary(dot)com is a good place for many items as is WolverineMO(dot)com
Look at the rigs used in the many LTR videos. You will find a wide combination of components that compliment each other. Maine military has a lot of molly gear right now and it is in good shape and cheap. Dutch LBE gear,if camo, is cordura and well made. Hope this helps.
