  • heyy how did u round the back of the neck?

  • @msbj10; Files and woodcarving tools.

  • @HearGear so it all was by hand? lol that makes the guitar more expensive

  • @msbj10; yes its all built by hand.

  • that little jig you made for the fretboard radius is genius although stewmac does sell stuff for making fretboards that looks like it works well

  • @cmzangetsu1993; this jig only cost me about a few nickles to make..and it works great.

  • @Aimstardom madness???,this is sparta!!!!!!

  • @connberkshire; The sustain in this type of wood is not the same as mahohony or similar to that.. pine is good for prototyping and building neckjoints to know how to do it right.. pine is great for experiments .. :D

  • did you make the neck out of pine?? Id like to make a neck just for fun not for professional guitars ( I have my ibanez for that lool) and dont want to spend money on wood cos I know Ill porbably mess up... would pine be a good idea?? also can you fit a pine neck on a guitar or will it buckle under the stress of the string tension,,,, thanks nice work, and awesome song choice!!!

  • @KissFan1997 och hur tjock/bred varje sån där träbit är innan du sätter ihop dem!

  • Snälla ge mig måtten på halsens längd!

  • @camdevh There's several videos of making a truss rod here on YouTube. In short you have a long bracket slipped over the ends of a threaded bar. At least one end needs some sort of ratcheting head whether it's for an allen wrench or whatever. The other end is locked inside the neck forcing the bracket to bow or straighten as desired. If you don't force some bow in the neck your strings will hit multiple fret wires as you play. If that sounds too complex you can probably buy one for your build.
