This make-up look I did on Nicole Richie for the cover of UK InStyle (shot by photographer extraordinaire Lee Broomfield) has been hugely requested since I put the shots on my blog last week. It's a strong Autumnal look with fierce eye make-up that I thought worked really well on Nicole's big eyes.

My eyes are a completely different shape to Nicole's but hopefully this tutorial demonstrates how the eye-make can be adapted to suit different eye shapes.

The plum colour and glittery-ness of the look increases with flash photography. Have fun! x

  • Hi Lisa, I like your tutorial, your beauty, your voice and... I really love your cat. Betty!

I already have 2 cats found when they where only 1 week old... They were almost dead... Anyway, I'd like to know where to find a cat like yours... Can you help me please?

    Thank you for everything!

  • @silthecat thanks! I'm so happy you managed to save those two kitties : ) Betty is A British Shorthair cat ... you can get them from breeders of this type of cat x

  • @silthecat send me a picture of them on twitter or facebook sometime if you like x

  • Hi Lisa,

I really enjoy watching all your videos and especially love this look, its so amazing! i want to attempt it, but is it achievable on blue eyes? x

  • @Leesamaree123 definitely, it would be incredible on blue eyes as the plum colour would make them appear extra blue! x

  • sooooo... hard to find artifact paint pot! and some in ebay just overpriced with the shipping to where i am.

  • @SmokinFoxy you could use benefit creaseless cream shadow in Stiletto instead...its pretty similar x
