  • Thanks so much Bernie, you've taught me to make some nice whips. How do you bind your crackers on? The way I do it works, but I'm curious as to your method, and I can't find your video on it.

Anyway, you've opened a new world for me, thanks again pal!

  • @ickybiker go to my site and click on the tutorial link, click make your own cracker and it will take you to a page with two videos, Replace Cracker is the one you want.

  • Man, I thought it was about nitrous crackers!

  • @TastyBurritos Sorry to disappoint you, I'm a bit to long in the tooth for that.

  • Thanks; always great to learn more ways to do this...tried it with Mason line and, besides being nice looking and loud...more whip grab, more tangling...so I cut it off and put a polypro popper on- problem solved

  • @bernie46 cool, got it.

    Thanks again!

  • Thank you for showing me how to make crackers.... I do like the loud pop you get from the polypropylene crackers :)

  • @Ir0nF1st924 You should be able to crack a well made whip with very little effort.

  • @Ir0nF1st924 No. When I first started making whips over 37 years ago now the norm for a fall was 18 inches. As long as you don't crack down to the plaiting you will be fine.

  • @bernie46 is it bad if the whip cracks perfectly with a 20 inch fall?
