@IloveyouLenaKatina Thank you for answering, I was really curious. So this Mom was very generous and had a strong mother instinct, and some kittens survived that otherwise would not have. Its sad about the ones that died, but I guess they too benefitted from this mother's love. At least that had a Mom to nurse and take care of them during their short lives instead of being alone and starving. :D

Honestly, I have NO idea. I assume one of my cats had them or something. But I never saw any signs. It was really weird.

It's like none of the other females would act motherly to them. They weren't anywhere near the road when I found them so I doubt they were dumped. They were old enough to be walking, about the age they are there, and just found them in the grass by our ditch.
