  • OK! This is my favorite song of all time! To me Nothing can compare with Genisis' "Entangled". I can pick it apart. ..but in the end, I must say this entertained me. Yes, you had the Gabriel guy, not unheard of in a Genesis cover band. But my overall impression was they did great. There's a lot of young people who don't even know that Genisis had a different, progressive sound before 1978. After hearing that, and if I were young, I'd buy the early albums. That makes it all right by me.

  • Beautiful sound. I love the end of this song.

  • AWESOME! I heard a Gabriel styled guy do a version of Ripples. Made me wonder had Gabriel done the album had he not left? Or him and Phil mix and matching!? I fantasize of this from time to time. :-)

  • This is one of my favorite songs and hearing 'Gabriels' yake on it is highly enjoyable.

  • it's an Arp Pro Soloist sampled onto a Fantom X7. I know because I programmed the sounds on that keyboard

  • This begs the question.... what if Peter hadn't left? Something worth thinking about.

  • love this! best album of theirs ever.

  • @prog4evr Maybe an M-tron.

  • Is that really a vocal mellotron the keyboardist is playing at the end (just like in the Genesis original)? If not, the synth sampling is quite good there - sounds extremely close to the original IMO...

  • I'm usually qute picky when it comes to the cross-over of Gabriel-style tribs doing Collins material, but somehow this works. A great, surreal, intro and a delightful performance (the word 'cover' is too often used these days)

    Top notch!
