  • Hitler is in heaven, if he repented and trusted Christ for his salvation before he died. We have NO indication of thus so it is safe to say, if you reject Christ, you will NOT be saved, and be in hell for eternity.

So will you end up there, if you continue in sin, so repent and fall on your face before almighty God put your trust in Christ and God will save you based on Christ's merit not yours. Today is the day of salvation, don't harden your heart

  • Great explanation! Rob Bell believes in another gospel.... his own

  • @brendos444 If you want to deny the particularity of God's redemption then perhaps you can explain why Jesus Himself verbally excluded the world from His prayer in John 17 and only prayed for those whom the Father had given Him and those who would believe later?

Or you can explain why not all people's names are written in the book of life?

  • @brendos444 See, the parable of the sower is just a sample because there is only one type of soil that is good and when the gospel fell on the bad types it never came to fruition. Bad soil doesn't change itself and become good.

Also, in John 6 Jesus said that "All that the Father gives me WILL come to me" and He also said "This is the will of Him who sent me, that of all that He has given me I lose nothing...".

  • @brendos444 Yea, lay off the Ad hominems because it really shows a sign of weakness. It means "I can't deal with the topic at hand and the scriptures so I'm going to rattle off a list of complaints and things that are off topic.".

  • @U that sower and seed parable far from proves your point. Because the my point is that the seed has not fallen on all the soil.

Calvinists buzz words like "ad hominem attacks" are typical ploys used to deflect debate. Romans is not only about individual salvation. Ever read Romans 8 where Paul talks about the redemption of the whole world. In fact there's a fair bit of ecclesiology in Romans that Protestants simply ignore in favor of their man-centred gospel. It's all about ME and MY salvation

  • @brendos444 Yes He did. In fact His illustration about the sower and the seeds is obvious. Only the seed (the gospel) that fell on good soil produced fruit (evidence of growth). Nuff said.

Now why don't you step off of the Ad Hominems and stick to what the bible says. You see "the elect" are talked about in Romans 8 and 9 quite clearly and they are mentioned within the context of salvation.

  • @brendos444 Of course when the Bible, OT and NT, talks about the "elect" it is talking about a corporate category of people. In the OT this was Israel. In the NT Israel becomes the Church - Jew and Gentile. It is precisely not talking about particular individuals.

  • @UniversalismRefuted Yeah and Jesus said that we should preach the gospel to all people. Did he really mean this? Why would Jesus give us this command if his grace was going to overpower the "elect" anyway??? Of course the answer is that God unites with his church and so we are co-workers with Christ in bringing the Christian hope to all nations in the hope that all would respond to the gospel.

  • @UniversalismRefuted No the Orthodox Church held a council and the church described Calvinism as heresy. It's not just one guy's opinion. It's not just some Calvinist shock jock holding a conference to show that all other Christians are wrong and he and his little tribe are right. I'm sorry bro, but Christianity is much bigger than the sectarianism we find amongst Reformed Calvinists.

  • @brendos444 You see the subject is not about "calvinism" it is about a sovereign God who has mercy on whom He will have mercy and hardens whom He will harden. As far as the person that has never heard of Jesus? Well then unless they believed on His name then they are lost. Not that hard to figure out.
