Join Ancestry.com Weekly Discovery editor, Juliana Smith, for a quick refresher course — or introduction! — on using World War II draft registration cards to help you pinpoint where to search next for family history answers.
I discovered that I could find out more about my relatives that did not actually get drafted! Never knew I could discover that. Also...I am now looking up my family members via google their association with military branches with the info I have or I have discovered. Thanks...enjoyed the session...I always learn more about the "hows" to discover info via ancestry.com.
Useful, but the 17 second video delay versus the audio track is annoying. Juliana also just ran into the recently introduced bug in viewing record images on Ancestry.com. One can no longer just grab an image and drag it. You must use the scrollbars.
Another 15 minutes of good information! Continue to show how/why to search the individual databases. The filtering in Family Tree Maker is also very useful!
