Picked up at Coolsprings, cleaned carb and tank. reset the spark plug gag and away it went. An engine from 1927.

  • That old stuff will surprise you. Years ago a neighbor sold me his

    father's 1930 tractor which had been sitting under a tree in his yard for

    25 years rusting. I changed oil, filed the points in the Fairbanks Morse

    magneto, filled the priming cups with gas, gave the crank a jerk and off

    she went with a backfire that sounded like a thunderclap! That early

    machinery was primitive but rugged, and it actually WORKED!

  • eveyrone looks to OHV technology from honda, briggs has had OHV down for how many years now??? lol briggs and stratton made the first hybrid car powered by a 18 hp boxer twin. lol
