He released Graham after he had killed his wife and was serving a life sentence. In MS, life inmates serve as trustees at the Governor's mansion and Graham supposedly built a friendship with Haley. So Barbour released him even against the protests of the victims' family. And the accent seems phony, because I've lived in MS all my life and I have never heard anyone talk like him.

Also, as far as the race thing goes. The media still acts like its the 1950's. All the old racists from the south were all democrats.
The south is growing! The midwest is rusting away. The South is the place to go make it now, affordable living, no harsh winters.

Cool! I speak as a northerner from Ohio but I see Gov.Barbour as a leader. Leaders dont whine or blame things on others. They take charge. I wish we had leaders like this in my area but instead we get these lame ass's who blame everything on Bush and instead of attracting jobs or making the place more business friendly, they and the union goons make stupid demands and then whine and cry when they do get what they want.

Mike Huckabee granted clemency to the guy who shot those cops up in Washington state...why? Becuase HE DIDN'T KNOW THAT HE WAS GOING TO COMMIT MURDER. Haley didn't release Graham because he knew he was going to kill his wife. His accent is an invalid point to make, he's southern. No biggie.
