The First Cut Is The Deepest - ukulele cover

This song was written in 1967 by Cat Stevens. I have not tried to copy anyone's version of this song, but I suppose this is closest to the1977 version by Rod Stewart. However, I haven't listened to any well-known version of it for many years.

I totally went against my own policy and did 7 takes of this song. The video starts with Take 7 which is followed by an unrehearsed Take 1. These two takes are quite different. I would be interested to find out which people think is best (or perhaps you think they are both rubbish).

My microphone is not resting on a specimen jar - it is just a glass vase.
