It still doesn't make any sense. You're using a metaphor as fact, which doesn't make you correct at all.
Animals aren't humans. They aren't, no matter which little cute analogy you like to us. Yes, they are creatures we share the earth with, and, therefore, they deserve respect and love and they deserve to be treated well. However, PETA is AWFUL about getting this message portrayed accurately, simply by stating incorrect things such as "Animals are people".
