This is a general instruction on how to route your ink lines on a Workforce 600. I took off the cartridge cover with a flat head screwdriver PRIOR to making this video. A lot of Epson printers look the same internally, so you can use this to help you out. Just make sure to push the cartridge carriage back and forth to see if there is anything that can obstruct it.

  • @Islandofbones It seems to me that you are having an issue with the cartridges not being seated properly. The best way to determine this would be to pull on the tab on top of the cartridge straight up to see if it's locked in or not. The best way to fix this problem would be to remove the cartridges and set them in 1 by 1 pressing firmly on all cartridges and pressing forward on that tab.

  • I made several hundred calendars on my epson workforce 610 and refilled the cartridges about three times. Then the color stopped. The cleaning process shows the last two are not getting to the printer. Where it should be brown or apex, it is light blue. I replaced oringinal cartridges, replaced ink, ran it thru both comp and e[pson cleaning process dozens of times, but the colors won't come thru.

  • @MultiDaniel56 Try taking out the cartridges and using a napkin and rubbing alcohol to wipe down the 'spikes' inside of the printer carriage that go into the bottom of the cartridges. Focus on the tip of them to clear up any clogs. Then reinsert the cartridges, run 1 'head cleaning' and then run 1 'nozzle check'. If the check is bad, do 1 more 'head cleaning' and let the printer sit over night. Do a nozzle check the next day to see if it clears up.

  • @SuperToBuy If it doesn't clear up, then do one more head cleaning and another nozzle check afterward. Let it sit again if necessary so the printhead can soak up the ink. There is no need to do more than 2-3 head cleanings back-to-back whenever you troubleshoot your printer. You can actually 'overclean' your printhead, causing none of the colors to come out. Hope this helps!

  • I have setup a CISS on my Epson Workforce 600 and I'm getting annoyed with the ink levels reporting inaccurate levels. My CISS is the same you demonstrated and it ain't like other CISS with reset buttons. How can I reset them?

    Thanks.

  • Organized video is the best way to display or post an article, thank you for making it easy to digest your post.

  • I just got my system today from you guys for my epson wf 1100. It works at first but than I keep getting the message epson does not recognize the cartridge. Different colors. I have tossed out 6 sheets of expensive transfer paper already because of this, I reset it 5 times now in 2 hours time of using the system. I do a test it works fine, than after a page or 2 the does not recognize the cartridge pops up again. VERY frustrating, please advise.

  • @lu123545 try to press them on place harder! i had same problem until i really pushed them down. Make sure u hold cartridge not under angle but straight! and push down hard. good luck!

  • It was pretty simple. It didnt work for me first because i did not press cartridges hard enough and printer of course could not recognize them, but then when i looked how deep original cartridge sits, i pressed harder and voila! it works perfectly! prints great and will last for ages :D

  • @jOnsin

Mine accidentally came off after twisting it. I then popped it back on so I know it can be done.
