@mamatorify If they treat you like a Flatlander, then wait till they beg!

If they are serious about controlling these critters, they'll put a bounty on them. Otherwise, it's just more lip service from MI DNR.

Here it is 4yrs later and the hog numbers are increasing. I'm helping a client of my friend's pest control service eradicate hogs on hiis property in Charlevoix county. They have been here for years with no one paying much attention to them unless they show up on bait piles or ripping up golf courses.

@Inquizzzitive There was a wild hog killed near Brant, MI a few weeks ago. The police had to shoot it.

Plenty of pigs and wild bores in Lansing. I guess the buck stops here. Or the swine. Hey, tip your waiter . . . I'm here all week.

Rumor has it that a feral hog was killed near Brant, MI sometime in the past few weeks. Has anyone heard anything about this? Fact or fiction?

The Real Problem???
Michigan Farmers would rather have the Pigs then the Hunters on there land!!! Settle that mess and you will not have a swine problem.

Any farmer that wants hogs taken off their property. I'll kill em for FREE. I will not pay to hunt anyones property. I supply my own ammunition and will remove the hogs that I kill. E-mail me or stop complaining.
i am from the u.p, and a very seasoned hunter.not used to people charging $ to hunt.if the pigs are such a problem, why does evey farmer try to gouge$ out me for removing problem animals.i am starting to think that people who dont alow hunting on their land are a large part of the problem ,alowing a safe refuge for them, then crying about crop damage. i have tried to do my part, for the sake of mich wildlife and farmers, evey door has been closed in my face, cant kill em if i cant hunt em.
