Ah, I see, yeah, that makes sense indeed :)

I hope that she found the strength that comes in wisdom's shadow to fight what's inside.
Another very powerful poem, 420². I can totally see why it was composed at sixteen.

Another great poem, but there's one thing I don't understand: "she's just like the rest but underneath the surface she needs to be the best" contradicts the idea of a person, who tries to be the best and acts like it, but is torn from inside. Or did I get it wrong?

Thank you! The lines, "On the outside she's just like the rest, but underneath the surface she needs to be the best." refers more to how everyone else sees her as having nothing wrong with her. They don't notice her inner struggle to be perfect. I hope that makes sense.. =)

Very touching, it's hard sometimes to wear that smile all the time.

Thank you. Yes wearing a smile as a mask can eat away at your soul little by little.. writing this poem was my first attempt to take off my mask and let my true self shine through. =)

Daisies are such pretty flowers, when I saw these growing out of nowhere in the middle of the rocks I had to take a picture. =)
