A crash introduction into making wavesamples for the Mirage. This demo is quite intensive and explains some crucial detail. This is not a fully comprehensive guide as there are a number of ways to make wavesamples, this is just a starting point.

This vid will only interest those who own a Mirage and find it a chore button pressing, referring to the manual, making notes of start page...

  • Love your voice, totalwit. I'm watching this video just for the sedative effects.

  • Holy shit!!!just followed this vid and it works perfectly. This guy is a god-he has opened up an amazing digital sampler come synth.

If i was a woman i'd have his kids....:-)

Brilliant,i have just made a sine wave string sound that sounds like Boards of Canada.

  • @5k3ll3t0n45h There's only one place you can get it legally and that would be at "Syntaur". This is also their website address. Hope this helps

    Peace,

  • Like this vid but I thought Mama used to say was out in 1982

  • In the 80's when this machine was big, they did it all on board in Hex. its all i have ever done without really understanding it.

Where does one get the MASOS 2 ?

  • You sir are a god among men. This is probably the best Mirage tut I've seen yet. I love my Mirage. I've been using it as a bass keyboard and for stabs because I could never figure out how to get rid of that annoying clipping.

  • Hell yes. I have a pretty advanced computer studio, but I picked up a mirage and an ASR 10, and still have an old EPS. I was introduced into music with this old gear. It will always have a home in my studio.

  • The optional 'synth' OS mod is interesting as well, I love vintage cryptic gear. Sleepers snooze on gear like this.

  • If anyone could find this "Mirage Editor" please post a link, I can't find it anywhere!!!

  • Way cool info, I'm very thankful for this. I just invested in a Mirage again. Funky times!
