In one of the uncommon cases being filed in Bandras family court, a 44-year-old husband filed a divorce petition on the grounds of cruelty and adultery against his wife.After 10 years of their marriage, a resident of Goregaon, Purushottam Mahajan (44) filed a divorce petition in family court on the grounds that his wife ruthlessly beat him up for past few months and was arrested by Dindoshi Police under Sec 498 a (Dowry Prohibition Act) of IPC in August 2008.
