Joe's POV:

"Adri? Adrianna!" Slowly, I saw her opening her eyes again. She blinked and looked around.
"Are you ok, hun?" I asked anxiously. Adrianna blinked briefly. "I..think so. What happened?"
"You fainted" I admitted, a ghost of a smile hovering around my lips. Her eyes suddenly flashed with realization at what had happened. "Isabella..." she muttered, and tried to sit up.
I quickly put my hand on her arm, and said, "Relax, Adri. It's ok. I promise."
She stared at me with pain in her eyes. Then groaned and flopped back on the mattress. "Umm..."
"What is it hun?" I asked gently.
"Where am I?" she asked, smiling slightly.
I rolled my eyes. "You're in the Nurse's office."
"Oh." She blinked again.
"Do you feel ok?" said a loud voice from behind my shoulder. I turned, and saw the Nurse standing there.
Adrianna nodded. "Can I go back to class now?" she asked hopefully.
The Nurse hesitated. "Are you sure you're ok?"
Adri nodded.
The Nurse sighed. "I suppose."
Adrianna got up too quickly and swayed on the spot for a moment. The Nurse looked at her suspiciously. Adri blushed, and muttered, "I'm uncoordinated..."
I placed my arm around her waist, very gently and quickly touching her stomach.
The Nurse glared. "Take good care of her Jonas."
I nodded. "I will..."
The Nurse hesitated for a moment, then said, "Adri, dear, can you go and grab the ice from the drawer?" Adri nodded, and slipped out of the room. The Nurse looked at me. "That girl is pregnant Jonas."
I hesitated for a moment, then nodded. "I know."
The Nurse glared for another moment, then leaned over and awkwardly patted my shoulder.
I sighed.
The Nurse said softly, "Go to the doctor soon." I nodded again.
Adri appeared at that moment. She spoke softly, "i'm ready now."
The Nurse nodded. "Go Ahead now....be careful." Adrianna nodded again. We walked out of the office together. I took her hand and squeezed it gently. She squeezed it back, and then I gently began to pull her outside. She looked at me. "Joe...school..."
"We'll go back in a minute..." She hesitated again, and then smiled and nodded. I grinned, and we quickly went behind the shed on school property. Before I could check that there wasn't anyone present, she lightly ran her hand below my stomach. I caught her hand, and pressed her back against the shed. She kissed me, and I could taste her lip gloss. Her breath came out in light gasps, and she wrapped her arms around my neck, sighing as she did so. I realized that I was in heaven...smack dab in the middle of hell.
