Yeah was May 30, 2009. I remember those cells you are talking about. One of those did produce the only confirmed tornado of the day which was visible from just north of that office.

Yeah there is a viewer that is downloable for those radar images but I don't know if it is Mac compatible. It's The NOAA Weather And Climate Toolkit

how do you make a video like that from your computer.. i see you use windows live photo gallery but how do you do it?

I got the images from The NCDC radar archives. I used Bullent's Screen Recorder to record the screen presentation while I put the photos into the windows explorer preview
