2009 Silverado Cherry Bomb Extreme

This is my New 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Truck with my less than a week old Cherry Bomb Extream Muffler. Now Im a die hard Flowmaster fan (as you could tell from my other Video of my old truck..2001 GMC Sierra. But Im reallllly happy with this new exhaust. It was a simply cut out the old muffler, and In goes the new one. Truck specs:




2009 Silverado
1500 Half Ton
5.3 Engine.
Exhaust is SIngle in, Single Out, Straight up muffler replacement. Muffler is also a SI-SO 3inch muffler. I wanted to keep the same diameter pipeing. The trucks pretty well stock but im doing my best! ENJOY!

So I noticed you have the super40 on your old truck and now cherry bomb extreme. I've got an 02 avalanche with the 5.3 as well and am trying to decide between the exact same mufflers. I want one with a mean deep and loud tone, but not to where it is annoying and popping back at you. The super40 is good but idk if it's loud enough. Really like the aggressiveness of the cherry bomb extreme but i cant tell if it pops back or if its just the camera. Advice??

@MrHirschy Mostly the poping comes from the metal the exhaust is made of. The sound reverberating inside the end of the pipe causes the pop. The difference between 01 and 09 exhaust is the 09 has a resonator that somewhat reduces the sound, so there is no rasp or pop in it. The 01 didn't, so it let the sound pop and bark more. And it was shorter. For deep and mean Id look into a Super44 and the Cherry bomb. Both will give you a great sound. But to avoid the pop, id stay with Flowmaster.
