He compares amnesty to ending slavery, giving women the right to vote, and ending Japanese internment in WWII.

  • The senator is right. Amnesty would be like ending slavery, and making progress in improving human rights. Amnesty is legal legalization of turning the US into third world slum. Amnesty would be like legalizing law breaking and encouraging it even more. Amnesty would be like turning America into social service to third world poors who broke the laws by crossing the border illegally. Amnesty would be like handing the South to Mexico in its ugliest form.
