I thought that too, but then I saw some of his performances of this song in 2010 and 2011 (the performance in this video was from 2009) and those performances proved that he is still capable of doing better than he did in this video.

@CapsSkinsFan hasn't stood the test of time? i guarantee if you ask anyone they know at least one beatles song, thats standing the test of time if you ask me. i respect the fact that you dont like them but i cant understand why you would come to a video just to hate on them. i think the real fact is that they have shaped the way quality music is and will be for a very long time, its not just pot luck they have 1 billion sold albums to their name. next you'l probably bash pink floyd or the stones

@aRiceCrispieSquare Most of what you say is not true, so it isn't worth arguing. Fact is, the Beatles were vastly overrated and much of their music hasn't stood the test of time and now sounds tired and dated. By the way, throwing F and S bombs doesn't help your case.
