@purseonal2010 Unfortunately Ringo has spent most of his post-Beatle life living in America with wife Barbara Bach and kids. Therefore, he pays no tax and contributes little of any significance to life in his home country. So it is safe to assume that Ringo wont be getting his knighthood anytime soon :-)
Paul McCartney on the other hand lives in the UK. Therefore his enormous fortune (in the region of £750 million) is taxed accordingly. Hence his knighthood.

This is so awesome! I am wondering why they didn't knight all of the Beatles. Only Paul was knighted. They should Knight Ringo, too!

As wonderful as it is to see these two, brothers in all but blood and name, I cannot help but feel a bit saddened by the thought of the other two who should have stood by their side. John and George, you will forever be remembered.

The Beatles did allow Ringo to sing on a few records - 'Yellow Submarine' and 'Octopuses Garden' I bet they were so high when they made that decision you had to scrape them off the ceiling.
Picture the scene - In their acid-infused deep discussions about the 'meaning of life' and 'why women smell of fish' - really weighty issues, and one of them must have come up with the most preposterous idea of the night . 'I know, why don't we let Ringo sing on few of the numbers' The laughter! - oh man!
