A classic! Add some hard-edged distortion while preserving the subtle nuances of your playing dynamics. A Tone control is provided for easy sound shaping.

  • @ToddeeTheTeleMan Haha ok, then i guess you're right. A good tube amp and it should sound pretty decent (Y)

  • @TheRolfieboy unfortunately, its worse! some fender solid state thingy. Decent tube amps are a bit out of my price range, I'm only 16!! haha

  • @ToddeeTheTeleMan ...And i suppose you're running it trough a cube? :)

  • @ToddeeTheTeleMan DS-1 is a great pedal, but you can only hear the goodness of it, with a good tube amp.

  • I have a DS-1. I use it with a humbucker equipped guitar. I love it. The settings are very sensitive to any adjustment, offers a lot of different distortion tones.

  • @TheBoomzBox People mix overdrive and distortion pedals all the time. I have a DS-1, and recently I was jamming on a Strat through it (with tone knob almost bottomed out), and the single coils aren't terribly strong, so I boosted it with an overdrive (not the SD-1), raising the bass signal, cutting highs, and adding a little extra drive for added harmonics. Sounded amazing.

  • @pedaltoneshop Can I use this pedal as a boost on a Peavey Classic 30 (solos)

  • So this may be a retarded idea, but I'ma pitch it anyhow.

What if you played with a DS-1 and a SD-1... AT THE SAME TIME.

Stop and ponder friends, stop and ponder.

Also uh, if any one could tell me how this would work out that'd be swell, just swell.

  • @blahapin But all is well for neither of them spelled anything wrong!

Ahh yes, now we can all live in harmony!

  • @blackmetalbanana Rule #3 only applause if he sucks at spelling, and gets away with it for a year.
