I remember at school (2nd year) myself and 4 others boys (2 Black and 3 white) stood up and sang the song chorous reapetedly in drama class!! The teacher a blond woman looked at us with a look what are we on!! good ol days..... ps (Aylward)!!!!

The guy on the trumpet is the double of the young Ian Beale from the East Enders U.K. ! THANKS FOR POSTING THIS, I HAVEN'T SEEN IT SINCE 1982 WHEN IT WAS FIRST SHOWN ON BRITISH T.V ON CHANNEL 4. I LOVED IT THEN, I LOVE IT EVEN MORE NOW!

@rhgl1 You are right this was a tight Sunsplash...I came to know about many artists from this recording such as Eeka Mouse, Lloyd Parks and We the People, Mutabaruka, Big Youth, Chalice on and on and on. This was centuries ago :) The sad thing is those legends didnt keep up the rhythm, Sly and Robbie became way too commercial, Burning Spear faded with age, Eeka Mouse kept repeating his old stuff, Third World faded, Dennis died. Now we have gangster Dancehall which has nothing to do with reggae

@3azabb I had a cassette from the soundboard that I played until it snapped. You absolutely right about the MC. The show caught fire about the third song and got better from there. This group was so tight. I hate to think that Nancy Regan is what they are famous for.
