This movie really speaks to me because I have been the kid who was always shunned, except by the very few close friends I had. And I've stood up for the others that couldn't/wouldn't stand up for themselves. I usually ended up second best in a fight because of it, but an amount of physical pain for someone's life? No choice in my book.

luv this video

god bless you friend this video was amazing I appreciate the sentiment behind the song as I've been in situations similar to the first boy although I ended up channeling my anger through my fists there were times I did consider the thought of suicide as a way to make everyone else happy with me gone. People should never be afraid to be someones friend because it is the small acts of kindness that save peoples lives thank you for bringing attention to this

The guy who brought the gun, when he got in the dance, he looked PISSED OFF and REALLY BORED!!! That part was acually the funniest....
i think you did a really really good job, but there is one thing in this video that really really annoys me and i'm not sure if it has caught anyone elses eye. The girl who is upset/depressed and is about to self harm, she is wearing black lipstick, and goth-like clothes, yet again stereotyping is used in media. It is not just girls with black lipstick on and dark clothes that get upset and feel this way. It would be more realistic to use an average looking girl who is feeling down.

@sexymotherpucker45: It would not be any more or less realistic. It would be a different story, but only different. Not better or worse. The goth girl's struggles are not of less importance because non-goth girls share or dominate the same struggles. The first boy and the next boy demonstrate that all internal battles appear in all people all ages all clothing types. I made an artistic decision to use an 'emo' character for the middle verse, not because I thought it would be more realistic, (c)

@sexymotherpucker45: (c) but because I thought it would be a better visual performance. Filmmaking is primarily an art of appearance, and so the VISUAL presentation is one of my greatest concerns, and quite frankly the story LOOKS better when told this way. Also, she is an average looking girl. That's the point. And the point is also not to assume anything based on looks. Because everyone is fighting battles even though we can't see them.

You guys did fantabulous! during the first verse and chorus I was going to give up on the video but it kept building and became this powerful thing. Though the dancing wasn't the best I've ever seen the adding of people made it powerful and the acting was spectacular.

@TomboyLuvsMyMusic I really appreciate your saying that, considering my hope really was to show the building- the connections- the ripple effect. And despite my weak attempt at chorus dancing filler, the actors were all pretty spectacular :) I'm glad it wasn't a total let down. God Bless!

i liked it =) i like seeing people do videos to this song. its so cool =) its a very amazing song too. why is the rap part not in the video?

@kutlessRULES4life There are different versions of this song (this was the original before they made the pill version) and I consider rap to be overdone, and I personally dislike it as a musical genre. So I chose this version instead.
