This is MGS2 for the PS2. All game play, all cut scene's and pretty much all codec calls. Should have every mandatory one (Might be missing some that are purely for gameplay purposes like swimming instructions and stuff) and even some that can be skipped. Crazy Colonel woot! This was by far the hardest to get on here so I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks goes to http://www.mgstruefans.aimbum.net/home.html for most of the Cut Scenes.

And http://speeddemosarchive.com/ for the game play, which was done by Mr. Cody Miller.

Also thanks to Government Tool for Captured codec calls and miscellaneous scenes. I'm sorry that some of the clips will suddenly switch to lower quality but, it was that or nothing--I hope it doesn't bother you. I swear MGS2 is cursed. The gameplay vids I had would have very strange glitches when in movie maker, like smearing colors and distorted sounds. Windows movie maker would close without warning, and these things have never happened before. And I've used WMM a lot. So not only was the normal editing process troublesome, but I had to learn and fight through the glitching problem and save every time I did anything just in case. Anyway, MGS2 never had a proper demo theater, so enjoy.

  • Again, I'm sorry about the sudden drop in quality at random points--I hope you can see past that. If you want to see the game's intro click the video response, the rest of this segment should be uploaded in a few days. Also, since this has been the hardest to upload yet. It would be very helpful to comment on any errors you may see. If they are significant enough, I'll do what I can to fix them.

  • thank you for all this videos.

    THANKS A LOT.

    YOU'RE GREAT

  • I must admit that I prefer the cinematics / art style, voice acting, and storylines in the first three MGS's over MGS4. However, keep in mind that my feelings have changed. Tomorrow, if i replay MGS4, I might love it.

With MGS4, I really enjoy the mission briefing's style in the nomad plane. Most other cutscenes seem cheesy to me or uninteresting, uninvolving.

Though the graphics are realistic in most areas of MGS4, photo like, the change from Mid East to Europe to Forrest = choppy feel

  • Lol at the guy with a 4 part comment!

  • years ago, in the t.v i saw a video where a guy was playing as iroqous pliskin, in the big shell, is that possible? how can i do that?

  • man this game is so hard to me i cna't even get past the menu screen

  • @nightshot103 Mgs4 is a great game, it is probably the most emotional game out of all the series because you know it's the last with Solid/Old Snake. The graphics and cinematics are awesome, the story is indepth, the gameplay is magnificent. But I have to agree that the previous MGS games, especially the twin Snakes held a better feel, they were more in keep with the tactical stealth part that all fans enjoyed. I felt that MGS4 was to much run and gun and was trying to compete with Call Of Duty.

  • MGS4 has the best cinematics and voice acting bro, most fans say that MGS4's story is awful but it's presentation is wonderful. Don't talk about MGS if you haven't played em all.

  • Part 3, you get the idea.

When I play MGS4, I feel about it the same way when I play a game that has a choppy frame rate. Even though MGS4 doesn't have choppy frame rates, the ENTIRE GAME feels choppy rather than one whole.

And octacon's voice acting isn't as good and involving.

They really fucked up Meryle. She's ugly to look at, ugly to listen to, and just one disgusting piece of ...

  • Part 2, plus the constant interrupting load screens all over the place.

Overall, cinematics, voice acting (especially Octacon's), art style, music, sound effects, storyline are better in the first three MGS's.

MGS4 has nice photorealistic graphics here and there, in most places. That's all.

I never played MGS1-3, so I can't say much about that.

Early MGS's feel like one long flow. MGS4 overall feels like a choppy frame rate game, though the game doesn't have choppy framerates.

  • Dude, it's everywhere. MGS essentials has it.

  • Get the Essential Collection. It has all three games.

MGS1, MGS2 Substance and MGS3 Subsistence (without the other disk)
