"Lucifer D. Larynx and the Satanic Grind Dogs of Death" pay tribute to the amazing Cryptic Slaughter!

Lyrics to "Little World."

Superior attitudes
Change the way to think
If you don't get your way
You'll just sit back and sulk
Do you know who I am?
Do you really care?
You think you've got me figured out
You think your world is fair

You live your little world
That's what I don't get
You make it all for yourself
So no one else can fit
You are the majority
The world consists of you
We'll just wait and see
Who's been played the fool

You've built your little world
Now you're stuck for good
Now there's no coming back
There's nothing you can do
Do you know who I am?
Do you really care?
You think you've got me figured out
You think your world is fair

"Lucifer D. Larynx and the Satanic Grind Dogs of Death" was started in the early/mid 90's. Infected by the Grindcore Movement of the mid to late 80's, 2 school-mates set out to form a band that would best express the "music" that was inspiring them. After trying out literally every metal and punk musician in the St. Louis area, they came to the conclusion that there were no fellow musicians in the area that shared a similar vision. Most drummers in the St. Louis area at the time weren't familiar with the "blast beat." The one's that were familiar simply laughed at it and made excuses for not attempting it. Grindcore was just "not cool" during the 80's and 90's with St. Louis musicians. They then decided they would be a "recording band," getting the occasional guest musician to record bits here and there.

Two demos would be released in the mid/late 90's, titled "More Evil Than Your Fat Naked Mother" and "Sex, Drugs, Booze, Grind!" The band would sell, trade and send out several hundred copies. This caught the interest of several small labels and bands, which lead to many compilation appearances, as well as a 4 Way Split 7 Inch EP with Dahmer, The Kill and Needful Things on Australia's "Dry Retch" Records. There were a few more releases slated to come out in the late 90's
and early 2000's that never came to be (to our knowledge), including an appearance on a "Carcass Tribute Compilation" (LDL recorded "Foeticide"), which never came to be.

In early 2010 LDL were approached by Anthony Herrera and his "Must Play Fast" record label to release some of our stuff we recorded in the mid/late 90's. The result was a 16 song, self-titled 7 Inch, which came out in October of 2010. The 7 Inch has received tremendous feedback and interest!

Several things are now in the works! There is about two seven inches of material left from the "90's Sessions" and a "55 song recording session" has begun as of late April, 2011. LDL are now looking for labels and distros to work with, as well as killer bands to do split releases with!
