She's Anything But Hollow

The Loners #1 sold out at the distributer level one week after it was released. Partially in celebration of that fact and partially because Penance (Hollow) is just so cool, I made this video.

WARNING: This video contains spoilers for The Loners #3 and #4 so if you don't want to be spoiled, don't watch, but I'd think most Penance fans would be chomping at the bit to see any Penance action! ;D

I've selected Penance images that, by and large, have a more rough feel to them than I've allowed for in my previous vids. Okay, I'll say it: I thought some of these were ugly. And then I saw the preview pages of The Loners #3 and the cover of The Loners #4 and realized they weren't so bad, by and large. ;)

So anyway, this vid is intended as an introduction to "Hollow" for those of you who don't know her but are going to read/see her in The Loners as well as for all "Penance" fans to enjoy and point to and say "see, she's not hollow, dammit!"

Although, I admit, the name is growing on me... ;) Oh, songs! Okay, there are four songs featured in the video. In order, these are:

Me too! I had to use it! XD I wasn't sure at first whether to put it in the Penance part or the Hollow part, but some inside references coordinated with the lyrics (at "skin" and "no one knows me like you do" in particular) along with the way Fully Alive and dying seemed to fit for Julie... well, it made the choice very clear. ;)

The link where I found the pictures said that Katie was going to be in The Loners, but it's Julie getting impaled. I think, in that link, Joe Q. was talking about an upcoming moment for Katie in #4. :)
