Microsoft Paintbrush, JASC Paintshop Pro, Newtek Lightwave 8.0, Adobe After Effects, Windows Movie Maker, and a 4 mpx cam.

You'l also need atleast 500mb of RAM, (i had 1gb at th time i made this), windows XP/Vista/7 is adviseable for these programs, allthough a lot of people do use Macs for this stuff
