This is my Electric garden tractor I'm going to use for pulling. I hope it can compete with the alky and diesel burners. I will post the actual pull on YouTube in a week or two.
The first two passes are low power in low gear
The third pass I turned it up and put it in high gear, little too much throttle tho, spun the tires so I got out of it right away.
The fourth pass I rolled into it slower. Went 0-30(ish) in 2.5(ish) Seconds.
In order to make weight I might have to drop off two batteries and that would take it down to 120 VDC.
we pull in the 30 cube class, i was told if u turn the tires around and spin on pavement it will sharpen them and true them up, try that lol

@steelhorse1979 I would definitely want to build a different, more suitable chassis, if I were going to do that. It would haul @ss tho. No doubt in my mind.

@3Popeye 144 volts. Amps, I haven't decided what I am going to limit the motor amps to for when I pull it. I'm going to start low and work up. Controller is from NetGain.
I can get alot more amps out of the red tops than the yellow tops. I am going for a burst of power not driving around for 25 miles. If I were building an EV I would do the yellows. But for this, I need alot of amps, and only for about 15 seconds.

Hello,
How many Volts? Amp's? Controller?
Why the Optima red top batteries instead of the yellow top batteries?
