Highlights, Men's Basketball, Ramingining, Yolngu NBA ?

Highlights at a local Ramingining men's basketball match, lightning quick reflexes, great agility, but poor shooting. These guys got natural talent but hardly train, imagine how good they would be if they trained as professionals do. Ramingining is a remote community in the NT, Australia.


Reminds me of a legendary football team from an outstation of Maningrida. These lads live in the bush and I mean bush, they got no television there meaning they have never seen an AFL game and have no idea what AFL is - surprising given that football is like a religion to Indigenous folk. Anyhow, these guys from the outstation of Maningrida learnt to play Aussie Rules football, it took them 4 years before they understood the rules properly. And then they were unbeatable. These guys were super-fit, had like 4-5% body fat, had natural endurance from living in the bush, and could do sustained sprints!

obviously some of them would have the talent to go big time if they wanted to,

but do they ever get the chance to, or would they choose not to leave the bush?
