@immortalis That is an interesting point. The trick I could see being played out (using your terms as they are right now) is the client was not specific that this immortality must be lived out on earth. So after ten years, client is immortal (or their soul is, anyway) in hell. Kind of like what he did in "the ripper". That, or since the deal time would run out, the deal was not honored, so client gets salvation, but ends up mortal again (deal is off), and then gets killed anyway.
@stylesIkon One other thing comes to mind. Yes, I knew collectors were immortal but I wonder what would happen if somebody asked the Devil(in this shows mythos) for true immortality(vampire or not) without becoming a collector. Would the devil trick him for 10 years or would he actually do it?. It's an Interesting point.
@stylesIkon Thanks for clearing all those point up. Yes, I figured as much with Danica, that she would be truly immortal if left alone. Too bad she was suicidal. I always wondered why immortality always gets trust upon people who don't want or deserve it,lol. Me , I would've never want to die like that even if somebody forced that power upon me like Ash did. I would see it as a gift not a curse...and thanked my 'violator'.
@immortalis all deals with the devil in this show are a ten year contract. Why it's ten years is never cleearly explained. It seems like just a round number of the devil's choosing. The one exception to that ten year rule appears to be with collectors (and yes, there are more than one, but only Morgan has the option to try to redeem the client). Of the collectors in the world, Morgan Pym was the first (14th century, if memory serves correct, look up seasons 1&2)
@immortalis Ash probably didn't think of that. She probably figured Vampire=immortal automatic. Chances are she figured she found a way to cheat the devil. Of course, the nature of the deal system (if you read the fine print) is that the goodies of the devils' deals begin to fade 48 hours before the ten year contract runs out. So of course the immortality factor would have to be undone.
Danica, however, never made a deal. If Ash didn't kill her, she'd still be vampire (show mythos)
Me,I would have made a deal to be a vampire forever and the devil would be able to collect my soul ONLY if I got detroyed by outside forces whenever that happened.Just like any vampire mythos: you're immortal unless killed in a very precise manner by humans.THAT'S a deal worth making,if you wanted to be a vampire that is.Or,maybe I don't understand the mytho of the show.Didn't Morgan say she had forever to live but her soul would go to hell if she didn't redeem? But,then why she got human before?
Good episode, but very cliche. What would be the point of making a deal to become an immortal vampire for only 10 years? Wouldn't that defeat the whole purpose of the immortality part? And why would the devil want to collect the soul of a vampire? The real evil would want top keep such a destructive creature on earth as long as possible to wreck havok among humanity. It doesn't make sense at all. Anyway the girl was dumb to make such a deal for 10 years only to just live out her fantasy. Thanks !
