I have this Eureka stick vac and it did really well for me. I had it for about 5 years before I got a Dyson DC24 lightweight Ball Vacuum in April of 2011. However the Eureka stick vac still works really good and I use it for small messes.

Actually I found this video very useful! I'm looking for a cordless stick vacuum cleaner for a small flat with larminate floors. I want something light, upright (so I dont have to bend down), cordless, easy to have at ready to pick up and use straight away - with decent battery life to sort out my biggest bug bear - dust and crumbs. My parents had a dirt devil which seemed good. Is this the best option? Would be grateful for your advice before I invested. Thank you.
