"Jack" is a character voice so you probably won't recognize the voice on this video but it really is Howard Cogan, the voice of Jack. CKLG had an unusual studio operation in 1989; during mornings & evenings when more was going on on the air, the module with the slider pots was plugged in; during the other shifts it was not there. The levels on the carts were supposed to be so consistent that pots were not needed. When the mic was hot, the music levels were supposed to be automatically dropped a few db. The top row of pushbuttons on the board opened or closed that channel; the buttons directly below fired the carts.
