  • All good questions, Bluebird. I passed them onto Mr. Foreman and will post answers here if I get them.

  • Very informative. I wish you could give a more involved explanation of what should be included in a digital format proposal. Should CDs include photos only? Or is other info included on the CD too? (And I'm just curious; would a webpage ever suffice instead of a CD?) In essence, I'd really like to know what an entire effective proposal looks like. And also, are there any other good sources to consult about this topic?

  • @BluebirdNC It is fine to include everything on the same CD. In fact, the more things are consolidated the less likely something could get misplaced before review. It is also faster than switching CDs out. Yes...web pages can work fine. The key is that it needs to be easy to navigate and should have all the information the person or committee will need. Many websites have way to much stuff to sort through. If that is the case, a section of the site can be designed for portfolio review only...

  • @BluebirdNC ...Folks could click on the link and easily see a condensed and very concise proposal. If you are submitting that to a review just give them the link to that specific page. Having it as a link off of your main page allows folks who are researching and who come across your site an opportunity to review a sample proposal...

  • @BluebirdNC ...There are lots of sites out there providing support for “preparing a portfolio for review.” Some of those are art sites and others are from other disciplines. That said, the information in both types of sites can provide some very helpful hints. - Hank Foreman
